Ms. Ferguson received a Bachelor's Degree from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1980 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore in 1986. She was recently recognized for 10 years of service to the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. She has served as a volunteer mediation facilitator for the District Court of Maryland since 2001. Ms. Ferguson was elected as a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation in 2001 in recognition of her dedication to the welfare of her community and the administration of justice.
